Public boat ramps and boat launches allow easy access for boaters, paddlers, fishers

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department is an excellent resource for anyone planning a fishing or hunting trip in Vermont, or even just access to wildlife habitats for observing and photography. For boat ramps, at the website go to “Fish” then “Boating in Vermont” then “Fishing Access Areas,” then “Statewide map.” Lots of opportunities to get into the water for paddling and fishing. The public boat launches below can be used for watercraft within the sizes and access limits described here.
