The 1999 post and beam barn pays tribute to Vermont’s agricultural roots. Knowledgeable travel professionals will assist you with directions, where to stay and dine, and current happenings. Access to restrooms, vending machines, ATM, pay phones, free WiFi, and maps.

Bennington’s new Welcome Center offers materials, great views, free Wi-Fi and real Green Mountain coffee. The friendly staff will answer your questions and assist you with directions, accommodations, and dining and theatre reservations. You’ll also find local arts and crafts, displays from local businesses and the billboards you won’t find on Vermont highways. There are stunning views of the Bennington Battle Monument while you explore the rich cultural history, destinations and great attractions not only in Vermont but especially in the greater Bennington area. Kids can play safe on the grounds while Mom and Dad enjoy the Adirondack chairs. Stop in for a break and some New England hospitality. The Center is located at the junction of Routes 7 and 279 near both the New York State and Massachusetts borders.
