Larger gatherings are held in the Apple Barn or Horse Barn, with farm and mountain vistas, and smaller ones in the charming Dutton Farmhouse overlooking the apple orchard. (Booking the farmhouse also includes a two-night stay for up to eight guests.) A list of preferred vendors for photographers, food, music, and other services can be provided, and because only 10 weddings a year are hosted at the 571-acre farm, each one is special. Guests can also stay on the farm, from Rudyard Kipling's Naulakha to the cozy Sugarhouse, which also makes a perfect honeymoon spot!

You can have your picture-perfect Vermont wedding and stay within your budget at The Reluctant Panther Inn and Restaurant, in the heart of charming Manchester Village. The experienced event and culinary staff will help you customize your special day, attending to all the details so you can be with friends and family. Venues include a manicured lawn, lovely gardens, a patio with a view of the gardens and Mt. Equinox, the elegantly upscale restaurant or the pub’s private, two-room event space with dedicated bar, perfect for cocktail parties. The inn also offers an elopement package that includes lodging, a garden ceremony, bouquets and boutonnieres, wine and truffles in your room and dinner in the restaurant. Or, for larger destination weddings, you can reserve the entire 20-room inn.
