Popular farm, with 130 varieties of heirloom apples, hosts pick-your-own

This Fall, they're offering pick-your-own apples (McIntosh, Cortland, Jonagold, Spigold, Gala, Honeycrisp, to name a few) and peaches (like Contenders and Red Havens). The farm, where cultivation dates back to 1791, grows 130 varieties of heirloom apples in its orchards and also features pears, plums, cherries, berries, nectarines, medlars, and apricots. Stop by the farm store for fruit, baked goods, and Vermont-made products and to have a bite at Pippin’s Café. Check the website for picking dates and dates for other activities, from crêpe nights to the annual Heirloom Apple Day.

Season: Raspberries start in early July – open days vary – check the website before you come. During apple harvest season the orchards is open daily except Mondays. Hours on days of operation are 9am - 5:30pm.
