This resort atop a mountain in central Vermont has made a selection of their cabins and guest houses dog friendly. The resort’s four open-plan cabins are perfect for two humans and a dog, with direct-to-outdoors access, a wood-burning fireplace and kitchenette. Spacious guest houses are on a private wooded lane with private yards, many with amenities from mountain-view balconies to decks with hot tubs. The resort, set on 700 private acres of woods and meadows, includes 60 kilometers of hiking/cross-country skiing/snowshoeing trails, which link up with the popular Long Trail. Dog walkers are available with advance notice.
