Campgrounds

Lake Carmi, the fourth-largest lake in Vermont, is well-loved for its camping, fishing, and waster sports. The state park includes over two miles of frontage on the shores of Lake Carmi. For campers, there are 140 tent or trailer sites, 35 lean-to sites, and two cabins. Bathrooms have running water and hot showers. There is a trailer dump station but no hookups. Most sites allow self-contained RVs (no hookups). Two camping areas each have their own swimming beaches. - Interactive Campground Map (PDF)

This is a fun park for family camping. The campground has 45 tent or trailer sites and 15 for lean-tos. Two restrooms in the campground with hot showers. A sanitary dump station is available; no hookups.
A beach house on Lake Elmore may be rented from Memorial to Labor Day. The beach house has a function room that holds 50 people, also for rent. This park is located on the shores of the very beautiful South Hero Island (also known as Grand Isle). It is large, and has the most-visited campground in the state and a destination park for many camping families. Ease distance from Burlington, VT, and Montreal, Quebec.
The park has 117 tent or trailer sites, 36 lean-to sites, and 4 cabins. Rest rooms have running water and hot showers for a fee. There is a trailer sanitary station but no hookups. The park includes a log picnic shelter, The park contains a small campground, picnic grounds, a group camping area, and a picnic shelter. The campground has a bathroom with flush toilets and cold running water (no showers). In the lower camp area, near the ranger station, there are 11 tent sites and 6 lean-to sites. Bathrooms has cold water and flush toilets (no showers). Campsites are walk-in. This park is loved for its expansive views overlooking Lake Champlain Valley and the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
